A Little Story About Me:
A Little Story About Me:
My journey started in Missouri, born and raised for 18 years. Around the time of my 19th birthday, I bought a one way ticket to Montana to escape the small town life and begin to find ADVENTURE out in the world I hadn't seen yet. After a few months there, I took a leap to fulfill what was once a 5th grade daydream, and bought a van to travel in! In the coming years this van would be the kickstart to travel like I had never known before. Together Rosie (my little pink van) and I traveled on down the entire West Coast, driving highway 101 down the ocean for weeks. After some fun in the sun, I made a detour that led me all the way inland to Louisiana, and then back up to Montana to rest and work seasonal jobs for a while.
I started to fall in love with "oddball" jobs and began my life as a seasonal worker. I worked at ski resorts, and trail building before landing in Oregon with my partner Elliot to work on a garden and campground on Mt Hood. We found an opportunity to travel abroad, so within a couple weeks we bought tickets to Puerto Rico and lived on a farm for a few months. When our island time was done, we moved to Salt Lake City, a place neither one of us had been, and planted roots for a while. WELLL, We thought we were gonna plant roots for a while. After working in a climbing gym for months, we had decided we weren't ones to stay put for very long. Soo, up our roots came and we both headed east to try out Whitewater Raft Guiding.
Another cross-country drive in my little pink van and I ended up in a small town National Park in West Virginia. Really is almost heaven... After training and having many... interesting.... trips down the river, we both fell in love with rafting and once again decided to plant roots for a while.
In the fall of 2022 I headed to India, a dream of many years, and got my Yoga Teacher Certification! I began to teach yoga as soon as I got back to WV, and from there on, all my efforts in work have been pointed towards a one way ticket back to the land I fell in love with.
Patiently waiting for the river to welcome us back after the winter, we are EAGER to get our paddles back in the water and share the sport with hundreds more people.
In just the last 4 years, my entire life has changed about 7 times. From moving around, trying out new sports and new places, I have gathered so many memories, friends, skills, and EXCITEMENT to continue on my nomadic journey. This is only the beginning of a rich and fulfilling lifetime I am building for myself. This is only the begining of beautiful people and places I will encounter.
I am infinetely grateful for this life I have been blessed with. I will continue to explore the grounds and my own expansion for as long as I live.
THANK YOU dear universe, I am SO BLESSED.
LIFE IS GOOD.
